McCormick's Creek Adventure Trip

5th grade students will travel by bus to McCormick's Creek State Park where they will stay in bunkhouses.  After transferring student belongings to cabins, we will eat lunch at a shelter. In the afternoon, students will break into groups to complete a nature program, Wolf Cave hike, and team building. Students will then return to camp to set up cabins and practice skits. After an old fashioned hot dog roast dinner complete with smores, groups will do skits and then we will take a night hike and learn how animals adapt to the night. The next day we will pack up and rotate through 3 activities including a day hike and games. Three meals (dinner, breakfast and lunch) will be provided by Camptown.
